Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Pexels360 Solutions LLP ("Pexels360", "we", "us"), the operator of TypeLords (typelords.com), collects, uses, stores, and shares your personal information when you use our service.
We're a small team. We try to collect as little as possible, keep what we collect secure, and never sell it.

2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Account information — your name, email address, and country (auto-detected from your IP, editable).
- Authentication data— if you sign in with Google, we receive your Google email and name; we don't access anything else from your Google account. If you sign in with email, we send a one-time code to verify it.
- Payment information — your name, email, billing country, and the amount paid. We do not see or store your card details. Payments are processed by PayU (India) or PayPal (international); they handle your card information directly.
Information we collect automatically
- Battle results — your typing speed, accuracy, and consistency for each TypeWar you participate in.
- Keystroke logs — for anti-cheat purposes, we log the keys you press during a battle (the character, whether it was correct, and a timestamp). These are tied to a single battle and used only to detect cheating.
- Device type — desktop, laptop, mobile, or tablet, inferred from your browser.
- IP address — used to determine your country and to prevent abuse. We do not store IP addresses long-term.
- Cookies and session data — we set an HTTP-only session cookie when you sign in to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
3. How we use your information
- To run your account and let you participate in TypeWars.
- To compute and display global and country leaderboards.
- To process payments and deliver lifetime access via the GST-compliant invoice we email you.
- To send transactional email — sign-in codes, payment confirmations, invoices, and important service updates.
- To detect cheating, abuse, and fraudulent activity.
- To analyze aggregate usage so we can improve the product.
We do not use your information to send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.
4. Who we share data with
We share your data only with the following service providers, and only what each one needs to do its job:
- Neon — our database provider (stores your account and battle data).
- Vercel — our hosting provider.
- Anthropic — generates the typing passages used in battles. We do not send your personal information to Anthropic.
- Resend — sends transactional emails (sign-in codes, payment confirmations, invoices).
- PayU — processes payments from Indian customers.
- PayPal — processes payments from international customers.
- Cloudflare — provides DNS and protection against abuse.
- Google — provides OAuth sign-in if you choose to use it.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with advertisers.
5. Where data is stored
Your data is stored on servers operated by Neon and Vercel, primarily in regions chosen for low latency. Data may be transferred and stored outside India in the course of operating the service.
6. How long we keep data
- Account data — kept as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days.
- Battle results and leaderboard entries — kept as long as your account exists. After deletion, leaderboard rows may be anonymized rather than removed.
- Keystroke logs — kept for up to 90 days from each battle, then deleted.
- Payment records and invoices — retained for 8 years to comply with Indian tax law.
- Server logs — typically 30 days.
7. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your account and personal information.
- Withdraw consent for processing.
- File a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Cookies
We use one essential cookie — an HTTP-only session cookie — to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. We may add a privacy-friendly analytics tool in the future and will update this page if we do.
9. Children
TypeLords is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us at ping@typelords.com and we will delete it.
10. Security
We follow reasonable security practices to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed session tokens, and access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach occurs that affects your data, we will notify you without undue delay.
11. Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when. For material changes, we'll notify you via email or an in-app notice.
