I've spent the last fifteen years building things on the internet — products, agencies, side bets, a few that worked, more than a few that didn't. Those scars came first. TypeLords came out of an obsession.
Here was the obsession: the most boring keyboard, on the most boring computer, can become a global arena. Every single hour. If someone just builds it.
So I built it. From a small room at my home in Goa, with an unreasonable amount of caffeine. TypeWars every hour. TypeLegends every day. An academy to learn from scratch, a career track to type for the work you actually do, certification tests with real grades, an open practice arena, and one-on-one duels when you want to find out who's faster.
Seven activities. One philosophy: typing is the most underrated skill of the keyboard era, and the world deserves a place that takes it seriously without taking itself too seriously.

Every activity on TypeLords is free for everyone — learning, practice, testing, certification, contests, duels, and the games arcade. There is no paywall and no locked level. Articles on the TypeLords blog are produced in-house and reviewed by Chetan Kumbhar before publication. They draw on the platform's own typing data and on established research into skill acquisition. Where a figure is cited, its source is stated. Corrections are made when errors are found, and the article date is updated to reflect it.
